The German group BEBORN BETON, is one of the groups, alongside DE/VISION, CAMOUFLAGE and AND ONE, taking direct part in establishing the contemporary German (and, one might even say, world-wide) synth-electronica scene. It is not surprising that the group’s first three albums brought it considerable popularity among electronic sound fans, including in Russia. Their combination of warm romanticism, with DEPECHE MODE influences, mixed with the musical postmodernism of the 90s, provides a truly wonderful example of the art of electronic music at the peak of contemporary electronica. BEBORN BETON front man, Stefan Netschio, took an active part in the famous international VIRTUAL SERVER project, organised by the well-known Russian DJ RAM.
