One year ago our concert agency presented for the wide audience its “child” – “May Thunder Festival 2004” which became a good chance for the Russian public to see such the acts of the world synth/ebm/gothic scene as Strict Confidence, Diorama, Beborn Beton along with the line of Russian bands including the leaders of the scene here Technologia and Arrival.

This year May for sure will not be excluded and we are glad to announce the second festival – May Thunder-2 marked with the brand May Thunder which will take a place on the dates: May, 21 and 22 in the “Tochka” club (Moscow)

Here is what we have for this year fest. First time in the practice of the organizing of the fests dedicated to the synth/gothic scene the festival will take 2 days instead usual 1.


May 21. Day one. SYNTH DAY. This day will bring the appearances of the synth/electronic oriented mostly acts with classic German synthpop band !Distain and legendary Swedish S.P.O.C.K. as the headliners. One of the interesting and exclusive moments of this first day will be also the returning of Alexander Yakovlev, which with his bands Bioconstructor / Bio could be called as founder of the Soviet synth-scene. This show will be first after long years of the silence.

May 22. Day two. GOTHIC DAY. The headliner of this day will be long awaited in Russia heroes of the gothic scene, German band Das Ich. The show of this band will be on the crest of a wave of the popularity of their last album ‘Lava’ released in Russia last year
